Howard Electric Cooperative takes an active role in economic development for Howard County and our service territory. Amber Overfelt, Howard Electric CEO, donates her time to serve as chair on the Howard County Economic Development Council (HCEDC) and also participates on the Howard County Economic Development Advisory Board.
Howard Electric is proud to work with Howard County in marketing the Howard County Industrial Park near Fayette, Missouri. Forty-five acres of land are currently available for industrial development in the Howard county Industrial Park on State Route DD. Click here to learn more about the available land.
Howard Electric is also an investing entity of the Howard County Economic Development Council. Howard County, through the HCEDC, recently joined forces with the Moberly Area Economic Development Corporation (MAEDC). MAEDC provides professional economic development services throughout Howard and Randolph counties.
